Work Package 3 - Development and implementation of WEB-based applications and services
From the start of the project the activities in WP3 mainly focussed on five pilot activities (PAs) that are foreseen to be implemented. Not all partners are involved in all pilot activities. However, the interest in the results is great, causing partners not involved in single actions to share their knowledge and experiences nonetheless. All PAs are progressing very well, delays are due to the late start of the project, minor problems in definition of tasks and test areas and changes in partner structures. Communication between partners on results and problems is vital for this WP. The video conferencing system Maratech and the VoIP-solution Skype, both installed for all partners, help, along with the project platform, to provide a stable basis for communication. Reliable results of the PAs will be available by the end of 2007.
